FAQs:
- Q: Why are you blogging publicly, rather than keeping a personal journal?
A: I used Instagram as my journal and after a while I started getting requests for advice and recommendations to places I had traveled. Each time I would send new recommendations I would try to put what I sent into a document for future sharing. Putting it in a blog post seemed like the next step to sharing advice for travel destinations! - Q: What topics do you think you’ll write about?
A: I hope to write about topics that will improve your travel experience. I remember reading lots of blogs about solo female travel before booking my first international solo trip, and I have researched and read countless blogs before every big trip. - Q: Who would you love to connect with via your blog?
A: Everybody! Haha is that too broad? I hope to connect with friends, fellow travelers, and people wanting to travel. I would love to do many things from inspiring newcomers to step out and explore the world for their first time, to collaborating with travel partners and forming new working relationships. - Q: If you blog successfully throughout the next year, what would you hope to have accomplished?
A: I sometimes find myself falling into thinking I don’t have much to contribute or that what I share won’t be interesting or helpful. Blogging successfully will mean I’ve shut off or defied those thoughts which will be a great accomplishment! And I hope to have accomplished publishing valuable material and connecting with lots of people to inspire a more global community and way of thinking.
